The good news of Christmas is that peace isn’t a feeling to chase. Peace is a person to receive. And his name is Jesus – The Prince of Peace.

How can we experience the joy, peace, and contentment of Christ? Today we look at what living a life in the sufficiency of Christ looks like!

Joy is not found by trying harder- it’s found by staying closer to Jesus.

When we look at Philippians 2, we find instructions for the church that are rooted in the Person of Christ. Our call to unity through humility is built upon who Jesus is. May we find the mindset of Christ Jesus as we cling to the word of life and consider others.

Why is Paul’s heart full of joy as he writes this letter to the church at Philippi? How can he have this joy when he is writing this letter from a prison cell? That same joy is available to each of us regardless of our circumstances.

When we see God for who he really is, we are able in the midst of our tears, doubts, and questions to worship and trust him.

Where are you God? Why is this happening to me? What have I done to deserve this? After 37 chapters of questions, pain and human reasoning, God finally speaks to Job… and to us.

In grief and sorrow we can get turned upside down and lose perspective. Today, we look at how to be a good friend to someone who is suffering.

We are told in God’s Word in no uncertain terms that in this life we will suffer. Today, as we begin our series in the Book of Job, we look at our biggest decision that we must make when suffering comes.

Today, on Woodside’s Golden Anniversary, we as a church family celebrate God’s Faithfulness in the past, we commit to God’s Mission in the present, and we look forward with hope to God’s Future!
