DALE ANN BRADLEY commands a list of awards as long as Highway 40. A former Coon Creek Girl and mainstay at Kentucky's Renfro Valley Barn Dance, Dale Ann is a 5-Time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) female vocalist of the year and twice nominated by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music for Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year. Her most recent album on Pinecastle Records 'Pocket Full of Key' was nominated for a Grammy this past year. Dale Ann will performing on WoodSongs with her top notch bluegrass band.

MAIDEN RADIO is the result of a collaboration started six years ago between Cheyenne Mize, Julia Purcell, and Joan Shelley in Louisville, Kentucky. With 'Wolvering', their third album, they demonstrate a unity of sound that seems to come from beyond those six years. Pulling from an ever-deepening exploration of traditional Kentucky and Appalachian music, the trio aims at shining a light on some of the more dark and lovely early-American songs that have survived through the years, re-arranged and sung in three part harmony. While showing a clear reverence and love for the great singers of the past, their music is timeless and beautiful and their original compositions are indistinguishable from the tunes people have been listening to for ages and ages.

WoodSongs Kid: Brenna Faith is a 13 year old singer from Fairland, Indiana. In addition to a passion of music, Brenna also works for her fathers non profit organization, Helping Hands For Freedom whom works with military children and their families and was recognized by the Hallmark Channel as one of their National Military Family Charities of the Year.

THE O'CONNOR BAND with MARK O'CONNOR isn�t your typical family band. The Band features one of the most iconic fiddlers in American history, Mark O�Connor. His collaborations with James Taylor, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Tony Rice, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, Alison Krauss, Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, and many others have led to performances on the most visible concert stages worldwide. In the O�Connor Band, Mark is joined by his wife Maggie (fiddle, vocals), son Forrest (mandolin, vocals), and Forrest�s partner Kate Lee (fiddle, vocals). Their repertoire is centered around some of Mark�s greatest instrumentals as well as songs written by Forrest and Kate, the band�s lead singers, whose tight harmonies and lyrical honesty have earned praise from the likes of Krauss, Rosanne Cash, and Mary Gauthier. Along with national flatpick guitar champion Joe Smart and Eastman School of Music graduate and current University of Miami DMA candidate Geoff Saunders, the O'Connor Band just recorded their debut album for Concord/Rounder Records slated for release this summer.

WoodSongs Kid: Allie Hagan is a 17 year old fiddle champion from Nicholasville, Kentucky. She recently taught 75 students in Kenya to play the violin using the O�Connor Fiddle Method.

LIZ VICE is a gospel, soul, and R&B infused artist from Portland, Organ. With a love of story telling, she has found herself going from working behind the scenes in the film and video world to behind the mic. The songs from debut album 'There's A Light' feature dynamic, soulful vocals, with lyrics are classically influenced enough to feel timeless and reference her deep-rooted spirituality.

WoodSongs Kid: Joe Tellman works hard to master blues music. This 16-year-old from Springboro, Ohio has received multiple scholarships to guitar camps, including those from the Pinetop Perkins Foundation and Generation Blues.

JACK SEMPLE is one of those rare guitar players who leaves a crowd speechless. WoodSongs fans of Tommy Emmanuel take note. This guitar virtuoso from Regina, Saskatchewan writes and performs "Modern Blues" without forgetting where he came from. He is an epic guitarist and a soulful singer. His music is like Stevie Ray Vaughn meets James Brown meets Robben Ford. He is a Juno Award winner and Western Canadian Music Award winner. He has contributed to television and music scores and appeared in the title role of TV movie appropriately called 'Guitarman'. He has a brand new CD called 'In the Blue Light'.

DARLINGSIDE are a Massachusetts-based ensemble whose sound is an eclectic blend of 60s folk, clever wry wit, classical arrangements, soaring harmonies, and a modern indie-rock sensibility. The four vocalists and multi-instrumentalists construct every piece collaboratively, pooling ideas so that each song bears the imprint of four different writing voices. Playful vocal permutations swing from four-part unison to CSNY-inspired group harmonies, underpinned by rich, carefully crafted soundscapes. The band's new album 'Birds Say' is out now.

As a duo, Doni & Eric alternate lead and harmony vocals while switching between instruments, using the drive of the Banjo, intrigue of the Guitar, nuance of the Mandolin, and visceral sound of the Dobro.

EVIE LADIN & KEITH TERRY are innovative musicians/dancers with a quirky neo-trad soul. This Oakland, California-based duo throw down original folk songs and deep interpretations of old songs, with the kinetic thrill of percussive dance. A prolific singer-songwriter, percussive dancer and square dance caller, the polyrhythmic heat of Evie�s clawhammer banjo has been heard from A Prairie Home Companion to Celtic Connections, Lincoln Center to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass while Terry is a master percussionist and a collaborator with a host of inventive performers from Bobby McFerrin, Turtle Island Quartet, Tex Williams and Robin Williams. WoodSongs Kid: Kentucky Just Us is a family bluegrass band from Greensburg, Kentucky.

JUDY COLLINS burst onto the folk and pop world with her debut album A Maid of Constant Sorrow in 1961, but it was her cover of Joni Mitchell�s �Both Sides, Now�, the lead single from her 1967 album Wildflowers, that gave Collins international prominence. The single hit the Top 10 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart and won Collins her first Grammy Award for Best Folk Performance. She enjoyed further success with her covers of �Someday Soon�, �Chelsea Morning�, �Amazing Grace�, and �Cook with Honey�. She returns to WoodSongs riding the global wave of her first new studio album in four years, a project of incredible duets with the likes of Michael McDonald, Don McLean, Jackson Brown, Willie Nelson and many others.

ARI HEST makes his second appearance on our show. A powerful singer and songwriter and brilliant guitarist in his own right, he has been opening shows for Judy Collins around the world and appears on her duet album as well.

DJANGO REINHARDT is regarded as one of the greatest guitar players of all

time. This Belgian-born French guitarist co-founded the pioneering

ensemble Quintette du Hot Club de France with violinist St�phane Grappelli

in the 1930s. He created an entirely new style of jazz guitar technique

(sometimes called 'hot' jazz guitar), which has since become a living

musical tradition within French Gypsy culture. Reinhardt died in France in

1953, but his blend of swing and the Roma Musical tradition, as well as

his unconventional technique, made him a unique and legendary figure.

most daring gypsy jazz ensemble. This ensemble of accomplished and

versatile musicians celebrates the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane

Grappelli�s pioneering Quintette du Hot Club de France with style and

panache. The HCSF borrows the instrumentation of violin, bass, and guitars

from the original Hot Club while breathing new life into the music with

innovative arrangements of classic tunes and original compositions from

the group�s superb lead guitarist, Paul Mehling. Featuring the amazing

violin of twice GRAMMY� Award-winning Evan Price, the velvet vocals of

Isabelle Fontaine and a swinging rhythm section, the group never fails to

surprise and delight. The band is currently presenting 'Cinema Vivant' on

tour, an evening of vintage silent films accompanied by live gypsy swing

ANDY YOUNG is a Chicago-based musician, sought after at music festivals

nationwide, performing Gypsy Jazz & Irish Traditional Music on Hammered

transporting you at once to Jazz Age Paris and the Gypsy encampments of

the dulcimer�s ancestry. His performances infuse expressive musical

arrangements with humor and insight to provide a deep understanding of the role of music in our multicultural and interpersonal world.

WoodSongs Kid: GRANT FLICK is only 17 but is already making waves in the

acoustic music world. This fiddler from Bowling Green, Ohio has been the

recipient of numerous musical awards including the Daniel Pearl Memorial

Violin in 2013. He was also selected as a participant for the 2015

Savannah Acoustic Music Seminar. Watch him perform with guitar master

Frank Vignola.

TIM O'BRIEN is one of titans of roots-music. It has been four years since Tim�s last solo recording. Between collaborations with Darrell Scott, the recent Grammy winning recording with Jerry Douglas�s Earls of Leicester and the rebooting of Hot Rize; he�s barely had time for a shower. Still, somewhere in O'Brien's vivid imagination, the seeds of �Pompadour� began to sprout. The fruits of his recent wanderings, music making and worldly observations have blossomed into eleven exquisitely varied, true to life and above all musical tracks.

WoodSongs Kid: Marteka & William Lake hail from Hacker Valley, West Virgirnia. This sister and brother duo play bluegrass the the Flatt and Scruggs style.

DOYLE LAWSON & QUICKSILVER are some of the most impressive vocalists and instrumentalists in the business. Legendary in the Bluegrass genre and called a �mandolin virtuoso� with �perfectly silken harmony� by The New York Times, Doyle is a National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Fellowship winner and Bluegrass Hall of Fame member. With nearly 40 albums to their credit, Doyle & Quicksilver have multiple Grammy, Dove, ICM, IBMA and SPBGMA Award nominations, and are 7-time winners of IBMA�s Vocal Group of the Year. Lawson is reigning SPBGMA Mandolin Player of the Year. Their latest album, 'In Session', was just nominated for a Grammy.

COALTOWN DIXIE is energetic all-female bluegrass band hailing from the Appalachian hills of East Kentucky. With the obvious lack of female musicians in the bluegrass world, Coaltown Dixie fills a unique niche, performing their own brand of �High-Heeled Bluegrass� with beauty and professionalism. And the occasional G-run! In their fifth year together, the band has just released their long-awaited third CD, 'No Town Like Coaltown'.

WoodSongs Kid: Isabelle Kate Rose is the 10 year old daughter of the bass player of Coaltown Dixie. Isabelle has been singing on stage since age 4, when she sang with Coaltown Dixie at Hillbilly Days.
