Sedgwick County Commission Chairman Ryan Baty says the cost of government is rising and he wants to do something about local property taxes. Baty commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.

Hour 1 - The Governor of Maryland declared a state of emergency and a search-and-rescue operation is underway after Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed overnight as a result of a ship strike.

Wichita West High School Athletic Director David Clark was injured on the job trying to stop a fight at an event last year.  Now USD 259 is isn't welcoming him back after the injuries suffered.  Steve discusses the story with fellow West High alum Mike Miller.

Hour 3 - We wrap up a Monday Steve and Ted with breaking business news.  Several top leaders at Boeing, are planning to resign from their positions.

Last week city leaders broke ground for a new, $357 million waste water treatment plant in south Wichita. Meanwhile, the new water facility in northwest Wichita is on schedule and on budget.  It is Mondays with the Mayor and Wichita Mayor Lily Wu.
