Hour 2 - A number of wildfires were causing concern around the state Monday afternoon. One of the largest was south of Lakin and burned at least a 6-mile path. A wildfire was reported in south Reno County, west of Pretty Prairie, and south of Arlington. Reno County officials say crews also worked a small fire west of Hutchinson.

The chances stretch from Missouri to the Great Lakes.  Closer to home here in Wichita, we have some fire danger conditions... and a big cool down on the way.  We get the KSN Storm Track 3 Forecast from Kansas Today Meteorologist Ronelle Williams.

Wichita Mayor Lily Wu tells KNSS News a special event is scheduled for Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Century II. It's the State of the Arts Community event, to show people how the arts generated more than $180 million in economic activity in Wichita in 2022.
