Steve and Ted wrap up a Tuesday with business news from The Wichita Business Journal.  Evergy has submitted rebuttal testimony after criticism of their plans to hike rates for Kansans. 

Hour 3 - After local and national news we get sports with Ted Woodward.  KSHSAA is reevaluating athletic classes in the state, and some area schools are moving up while others are moving down.

Sedgwick County Commission Chairman Pete Meitzner joins us every Tuesday on Steve and Ted in the Morning.  Meitzner says retaining good employees can be difficult for the government as well as in the private sector.

Hour 2 - The clock continues to tick towards shutdown, and the gridlock in D.C. seems poised to begin hurting the American public.  And politicians are more worried about elections than they are about the welfare of American taxpayers.

Some say burning rubber or plastic, others don't notice it at all.  Steve and Ted talk about the mysterious stink in east Wichita some have been reporting for a couple of days.
