What do we do when the future feels uncertain and we don't know what tomorrow holds? Revelation 5 gives us a powerful answer: we may not know what tomorrow holds, but we can know who holds tomorrow.

John sees a scroll in God's hand, sealed and waiting to be opened, but no one is found worthy. Then he hears about a conquering Lion — only to turn and see a Lamb who has been slain. This striking picture points us to Jesus: the victorious King who conquered through sacrifice, the one whose scars tell the story of his love and redemption.

Revelation 5 reminds us that Jesus is worthy because he has conquered death, redeemed his people and holds the future. Rather than being consumed by everything we don't understand, we are invited to refocus our eyes on Christ.

What do we do when life feels chaotic and the future is uncertain? Revelation 4 gives John a different perspective.

Instead of first showing him the troubles happening on earth, God opens a door into heaven and invites him to look up. What John sees is a throne, with God seated upon it.

Revelation 4 reminds us that although the world may shake, God's throne has not moved. He is still holy, sovereign and worthy of worship. The chapter points us towards God's authority, his faithfulness and his mercy, while reminding us that our circumstances don't always tell the whole story.

The message then leads us towards Revelation 5, where John sees Jesus as both the Lion and the Lamb — the powerful King who gave himself for us. Our hope isn't simply that God is powerful, but that the God who reigns is also a God who loves us.

So, when you're worried about your family, your future, your work or simply trying to understand what God is doing, perhaps the invitation is to look up and remember who is on the throne.

As we pause and look back over the first three chapters of Revelation, we’re reminded that these chapters are not simply mysterious predictions about the future. They are pastoral words from Jesus to real churches facing real pressures — and they still speak to us today.

Through the seven churches of Revelation 1–3, we see different challenges: losing our first love, facing suffering, compromising under cultural pressure, confusing love with tolerance, relying on reputation, feeling small or weak, and becoming self-sufficient.

But there is also a consistent message of hope. Jesus knows his church. He sees our struggles, our faithfulness, our weaknesses and our successes. And his call is to remember, repent, wake up, hold fast and remain faithful.

At the heart of this message is a simple question: **Which church are we becoming?** Rather than simply asking how we appear to others, are we spiritually alive? Are we still centred on Christ?

As Woody looks ahead, this is an invitation for us to keep our eyes on Jesus, remain faithful and trust him with what he has placed before us.

In this message from our Revelation series, Martin takes us through Jesus’ letter to the church in Laodicea (Revelation 3:14–22) — one of the most challenging passages in the seven letters to the churches.

Laodicea was a wealthy and comfortable city, but Jesus warned that the church had become spiritually lukewarm. They had become so comfortable with the culture around them that they had lost sight of their purpose, their need for Jesus and the difference they were called to make.

This passage invites us to ask some honest questions: Where do we find our truth? Have we become too comfortable? Are our values shaped more by Jesus or by the world around us? And, most importantly, are we willing to listen and respond when Jesus challenges us?

Yet this is not simply a message of warning. Jesus still loves His church. His invitation to repent, listen and open the door reminds us that there is always hope. He calls us back into a deeper relationship with Him and promises an incredible future to those who overcome.

In this message from our series on Revelation, we look at Jesus’ letter to the church in Philadelphia in Revelation 3:7–13. Philadelphia was a small church facing opposition, yet Jesus did not criticise them for their size or apparent weakness. Instead, he commended them for holding on to his word, remaining faithful and representing his name well.

This letter reminds us that what looks strong from the outside is not always what matters most. Jesus sees what is happening beneath the surface — our hearts, our motivations and our faithfulness. His encouragement to the church is simple: hold on, keep going and rely on him.

For Woody, this raises some important questions. What does our church look like at its heart? Are we focused on external results, or are we seeking to be genuinely healthy and faithful to Jesus? And when we feel small, weak or fragile, are we remembering where our true strength comes from?

In this message, we continue our journey through Revelation 2:18–29, exploring Jesus' letter to the church in Thyatira. From the outside, everything looked healthy, but beneath the surface there was compromise that threatened to weaken the church from within.

This passage reminds us that Jesus sees beyond appearances. He knows our strengths, our struggles, and even the hidden places of our hearts. Yet rather than condemning people, He patiently calls them to repentance because He loves them and wants them to experience freedom and life.

Together we'll explore what it means to stand firm in a culture that often encourages compromise, why holiness and love belong together, and the incredible promise Jesus gives to those who remain faithful. Ultimately, this message points us back to the good news of the gospel: the Judge is also our Saviour, who gave His life so that anyone who turns to Him can receive forgiveness, hope, and new life.

This week, we continue our series through Revelation by looking at Jesus' letter to the church in Pergamum (Revelation 2:12–17). It was a church living in a difficult environment, surrounded by pressure, compromise, and competing voices. Yet Jesus begins with a beautiful reminder: "I know where you live." He sees their struggles, knows their circumstances, and commends their faithfulness.

At the same time, Jesus lovingly challenges them to deal with the subtle compromises that had crept into their lives. This message invites us to consider the small things that can slowly pull us away from God and to rediscover the hope found in repentance, grace, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus.

Alongside the warning comes a wonderful promise: Jesus offers hidden manna, a white stone, and a new name—pictures of his provision, acceptance, and intimate relationship with us.
