Welcome to Woody!

Welcome to Woody! We are regularly taught that become the least is the way to become the greatest in the Kingdom of God. Honesty and integrity are two of the most important ares when it comes to serving those around us, and as we learn today, cheating the Lord to gain stature among others is never right.

Welcome to Woody! Living with open hearts, and open hands, were two of the most identifiable characteristics of the Original Church. Understanding their generosity, and the unity which came from this, will give us a greater insight into God's original design for each of our lives, and the fellowship He so longs for us to have.

Welcome to Woody! The love of our Heavenly Father, Yaweh, goes far beyond the comprehension of minds. In this example of the purest love, though, we are called to look at those around us who are in need of a family, to draw them near, and to welcome them Home (for Good).

Welcome to Woody! Many times the astonishing move of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the apostles may come across as superhuman! In reality, though, their lives had been touched by the (super) power of the Holy Spirit. The time they spent with Jesus, privately and publicly, marked their lives for the Glory of God to be shown in the most mind blowing, extraordinary ways!

Welcome to Woody! The gift of healing is something Jesus has freely given us access to by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we see the first expressions of the gift in Acts. Through the incomprehensible power of Grace, we learn that God has freely, lovingly, and caringly brought all of us who are not worthy into His glorious presence to experience His healing power.

Welcome to Woody! This week we had the privilege of hosting a YWAM team, and got to hear from one their team members, Daniel.

Welcome to Woody! The early church had a such a close knit fellowship that many of us look upon with longing. How then, in today's church, can we look to them for wisdom on how to experience the presence of God in every aspect of our lives?

Their lives would never be the same, and the world around them would once again be gloriously connected to the Kingdom of Heaven.
