Wooisms

Here we go once again with this thang known as Wooisms.  We find ourselves back feeling a certain type of way,  Why...because of the world we live in, drywall belonging to white neighbors received more justice than the family of Breonna Taylor.  Of course we had to discuss this and we also discuss black men stepping up for our black queens.  Woo doesn't know why, but some way the conversation shifted back to that clown Daystar Peterson aka Tory Lanez.  We had a packed house today as we are glad to have Asha in with us before she leaves Mobile as well as the CEO of Peaux Wear, D Ross, and the homie Booman.  As always Peaux Up, Light the hookah, sit back and enjoy.

The fellas are back in the lab with an all new, in touch, in depth episode discussing the one thing black men find hard to openly discuss...Mental Health and Mental Illness. We talk about Dak Prescott revealing his bout with Mental Health and the comments from Skip Bayless. The fellas also discuss their Mental Health Issues and how they cope with them. Today is a first of many because Jerel finally comes from behind the camera and rips the Post Office during the Woosah Moment of the Week. When life throws curve balls, all you can do is adjust, adapt, and overcome so this week we did just that.  This episode was recorded during transitions of the podcast and was kept in the tuck so we decided to go ahead and air it.  The fellas talk about diss songs, the versus battles up to date at that time, Woo having no filter, and black television in the 90s.  As always peaux up, light the hookah, sit back and enjoy.

The fellas are back together and back to the normal.  This week we are joined by the homie Jackson (@j.mcmillion.iii) as we discuss this case that happened in California that resulted in Jamal Trulove who was wrongfully convicted of first degree murder in 2010.  The kicker is he knew the killer and was friends with the victim, but he did not snitch on the killer.  So this episode we tackle snitching and loyalty.  The Woosah Moment of the Week gets a little deep this week, but it needed to be shared.  As always peaux up, light the hookah, sit back and enjoy this thang we call Wooisms.

Here we go again. This week Woo had to go out of town but the fellas still found time to record. We could not start the episode without paying respect to our hero, Chadwick Boseman. It’s cliché that we are discussing another police attack on an unarmed black man, Jacob Blake and the aftermath surrounding it. This week Woo and Big Hes are joined with a repeat offender to the show, Alexis Bell (@strate_music).  Bell is running for City Councilman in District 2 in Prichard, Alabama and is talking about his plans and some of his agenda for the people of the District 2.  You know the fellas had to discuss the BaCoonery that is going on in the Mayoral Race in Prichard known as Reginald Davis, Lastly, we talk about colorism. We back once again with another episode of straight bars.  This week the fellas are joined with everyone's favorite country cousin, Prichard, Alabama's own, Joseph Arnold (@thejoarnold).  Jo sits down and talks about his experience marrying his Nigerian Bride in the Nigerian Culture and the American Culture, which leads into the topic of discussion, Hyphenated Last Names.   The fellas also go to church for a minute and have Bible Study as to which J name was stuck in the belly of the whale.  Lastly, the episode was recorded on Neighborhood Nipsey's birthday so Happy Bornday and Rest in Power Nipsey Hustle.

Another fulfilling week once again for the fellas. We briefly touch on WAP and dissect the versus battle between the biggest boss Rick Ross and Tiddy 2 Chainz. We talk about whom we would like to see next and what do we look for while watching the battles. Lastly, we talk about rebranding and knowing who we are as individuals.
