In Numbers 21, the solution to the snake bite was to focus on a serpent on a pole, made by Moses, under the direction of God. According to John 3:14, that is a representation for a type of Jesus who became a curse for us. Galatians 3:13 says that He was made a curse for us, for cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree. So He absored the curse for us in order to set us free. The medical symbol on ambulances today is a serpent on a pole representing healing since the people in Numbers 21 were healed when they gazed upon this pole. Today we are healed and forgiven as we gaze upon Jesus on the cross." -Pastor Cliff Reynolds
