Do not permit your thoughts to be influenced by the adversary.  When doubt about your sonship surface, cast them down. (I John 3:1, II Cor. 10:5)  Take inventory of your thoughts and utilize your spiritual weaponry.  Put a hedge around your home by guarding your thoughts. (Prov. 4:23)

The pressure, worry and anxiety leave when we engage in prayer.  Stay in Thanksgiving mode regarding the answer.  It’s easier to thank Him when we live in constant awareness of His majesty and magnitude. Humility has Biblical benefits.  We remain humble by constant thanksgiving.

Cultivate a lifestyle of thanksgiving.  Regular thanksgiving is an exercise in humility.  Thanksgiving prepares the way for His grace.  Whatever we’re not thankful for, we stand the possibility of losing. When problems arise, go into thanksgiving mode.

1.  A thankful heart is indicative of Christian maturity.

2.  Our capacity to receive from Him is tied to our appreciation.

3.  It is scriptural to thank Him in advance of the answer.
