Jesus displayed self-denial in going to the cross for us.  There is no advancement of God's Kingdom without self- denial. Lose the low life and find the high life by denying yourself. Our families will flourish when this attribute is prevalent. Rules without a relationship will produce rebellion. Rules with a relationship will produce obedience. Godliness is profitable. Denying self is relevant to prosperity. Denying self sometimes means good financial planning. God gives us all things richly to enjoy. If your willing to live like no one else, someday you'll live like no one else. You can't have everything you set your beady little eyes on. The Christian life is about receiving and giving.  Make a deposit into your heavenly account. We can make deposits in our heavenly account.  Self-denial is an aspect of growing up. Rejoice when other people succeed and prosper. When you can accept criticism and correction willingly. When you can accept interruptions and bumps in your schedule. We are growing up into him in all things.

Easter is the premiere event of all Creation.  God was manifested in the flesh. Jesus is the author of life.  The devil is the author of death.  Fear of death will put you in bondage.  The creator of the universe has given us authority over the devil from expressing or manifesting himself in our life.  Jesus didn't just come to give us a new start, but also to give us a new life. 

Walk in the light of the Word. (Ps. 119:9-11, 105)  Stick with the Holy Spirit and His power.  It’s God’s desire to give you guidance.   (Ps. 48:14)  Ask for wisdom.  Believe you received  it. (Mark 11:24)  Be led by the Spirit in following the plan of God for your life. (Col. 3:15, Prov. 20:27)

God is able: 1. Make you stand.   2. Keep you from falling.   Able- the ability (websters dictionary) 3. Save you completely. 4. Keep what you've committed unto Him. 2 Tim. 1:12- For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (2 Timothy 1:12 KJV) 5. Make all grace abound toward you. (2 Cor. 9:8) 6. Perform what He has promised. 7. Do exceedingly abundantly above what you could ask or think.

1. We all have a heavenly account. (Philip. 4:17) Philip 4:13- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. (Philippians 4:13-18 KJV) 2. Our account balance depends on the deposits we make. Matthew 6:19- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:19-21 KJV) Luke 12:15- And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. (Luke 12:15, 23 KJV) Our faithfulness in this life can effect eternity. Matthew 16:27- For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (Matthew 16:27 KJV) 3. Our affection should be in heaven and not a safety deposit box on earth. (Col. 3:2) Col. 3:2- 4. As we remain faithful, we are laying up treasures in heaven. (Matt. 6:19) I Corinth. 3:15- If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. (1 Corinthians 3:15 KJV) 5. In Mark 10, Jesus is trying to get the rich man to make a heavenly deposit. Mark 10:20- And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. (Mark 10:20-22 KJV) The man if he gave all his money away to the poor, he would end up with nothing but that is not true. When you give to the poor, you lend to The Lord. And He will repay. 6. Laying up treasures in heaven can help produce an earthly blessing as well.

Prov. 3:14- 17- For she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. (Proverbs 3:14-17 NIV) We need wisdom (it's the principal thing). 1. Children can be taught to be kind, caring and considerate of others. (Heb. 10:24) Your children will be happier in life and more popular when they learn to be unselfish and considerate of others. 2. Young folks tend to lack depth perception regarding their actions Children in general lack depth perception. They don't think about consequences. They lack wisdom in making decisions. Heb. 10:24- And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, (Hebrews 10:24 NIV) When children aren't willing to receive instruction, they will have to go through the school of hard knocks. The pain of their bad choices is their teacher. 3. A simple formula for child-rearing: A. Love them so they know their value. B. Train them. Prov. 29:15- A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom, but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother. (Proverbs 29:15 NIV). Prov. 29:17,18- Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire. Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. (Proverbs 29:17, 18 NIV) 4. The "avenue" through which training comes is respect. Teach your children to respect your parents. 5. Prevent the unsaved from attaching themselves to our children and drawing them away from a holy walk. Psalms 101:3- I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. (Psalm 101:3 NIV). Psalms 5:4- For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome. (Psalm 5:4 NIV)

Jesus gave us the fig tree illustration to demonstrate the power in our words. (Mark 11:12-15, 20-22 KJV)  (John 4:40, 49-53 KJV) Faith believes in the unseen realm. Keep believing in the unseen realm when you have believed and prayed and have spoken to your body.  Jesus was teaching that we can do the same. (Matthew 21:21 KJV)  (Mark 11:24 KJV) Heaven will back you up. (Matthew 16:19 KJV) Be proactive. Keep waiting on God and go after it. If we are told to speak, then we need to speak. When you confess the word, you are demonstrating your faith and releasing in the air what you believe in your heart. Speaking the word is releasing creative power.
