Let's learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to apply God's Word to our lives - in line with the context of the Bible.

Transformation happens when we learn to marinate in, mull over, reflect, dwell on, and ponder God's Word.

The reason we Get Alone With God is for us to purposefully meet with the Lord in such a way that His Word and His Spirit will noticeably transform our lives.

Psalm 62 (ESV) 1-2, 5-8
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken . . .
5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. 7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. 8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.

This short podcast is a devotion on Psalm 121 I did for Zoom church we live-streamed on Jan 2, 2022, because so many of us had covid (including me). The focus in the devo is that the Lord will KEEP us. Six times in Psalm 121, the Lord promises to KEEP us. That is good, reassuring news.

The God of all Creation - the Maker of Heaven and Earth - the Eternal, All-Existing One - was born as a baby, May we be awestruck and in complete wonder this Christmas. Check out this 11 min clip of the message.
