  1. Ancient Polynesians were known to be skilled navigators and stargazers.
  2. This great teacher/counselor is remembered and well missed as a beacon and navigator to many whom he had guided.

An imaginary line drawn around to split the Earth into Northern and Southern hemisphere.

  1. Many tropical countries, such as Brazil, Uganda, and Indonesia, lie on the equator.
  2. One of my favorite Yo’ Mama jokes is about the equator and a belt. LOL.

A thin structure that erects and separates spaces; the action or state of dividing.

  1. Bureaucrats that sit behind glass partitions are particularly ornery and difficult, so they say.
  2. After a victory in the First Opium War, Britain took a vital part of Hong Kong, thus opening the era of partitioning in China.

A state of having two parts that match exactly; showing symmetry.

  1. The preschooler was obsessed with building all his Lego-brick castles in symmetrical structures.
  2. There’s a biological assumption that symmetrical faces are intrinsically more beautiful than ones with uneven features.

Situated in the East; align or position to the point of a compass; adapt to specific circumstances.

  1. This campus tour session is set to orient prospective students and parents only.
