Delay or postpone action; put off doing something.

  1. We tend to procrastinate a task when the due date still seems far in the future.
  2. Procrastination is one of those hard habits that I want to get rid of.


#rush R-U-S-H

Move with urgent haste.

  1. Don’t rush, I want you to carefully and correctly solve this problem.
  2. The patient is hardly breathing, rush her to the emergency room now!


#deadline D-E-A-D-L-I-N-E

The latest time or date by which something should be completed.

  1. If this report is not handed in before the deadline, it gets 0 points.
  2. We barely missed the deadline, we need to start our work earlier next time.
