God has given us the gift of free will, but without the leading of Holy Spirit, we will not be able to choose the way of life. The best thing we can do with our free will is to give it back to God and allow His will to flow through us. Because God has written our books for life, He knows the path that will please Him and bring Him the most glory.

We have the privilege of being a part of an advancing, overcoming Church. In fact, the Word tells us that God has no pleasure in those who draw back. The good news of the blood is that Jesus Christ frees us from our sin nature and every requirement that it held against us. Because of the blood, we do not have to bear the fruit of iniquitous sins but can truly live free.

When we come out of the fire, we emerge as ones who have not been harmed by the plans of the enemy. As with Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, we come out as ones who reveal the glory of God to those around us, and even unbelievers will recognize God's almighty power to save.

Fire is not a place where we naturally want to stay, but there is a refining that can only happen in the fire. God does not send the fiery trials of life, but when they come, He promises to be with us in the fire. Even when it is most difficult, we must stay in the fire so that the glory of God can be revealed.

We must overcome the fear of death in order to fully live the life that Jesus gave us. In Christ, we no longer live but it is Christ who lives in and through us. Overcoming believers are ones who have overcome the fear of death.
