I am grateful to release Word Medicine EP2 with Raven Ariola.
Guest Bio:
From my early years in a household where plant medicine was never taboo, I've dedicated myself to promoting the transformative potential of entheogens. As a lifelong learner and passionate advocate, I'm committed to bridging the educational gap in the cannabis industry and beyond. Proudly a first-generation college graduate, first-generation American, and a West Virginia native.
In pursuit of this passion, I earned a B.Sc. in Biology from Alderson Broaddus University, then continued to earn my M.Sc. in Medical Cannabis Sciences & Therapeutics from the nation's pioneering graduate program, leading the way in cannabis science. Serving as the Director of Education for the Medical Cannabis Student Association, I played a vital role in shaping education and fostering knowledge dissemination. This invaluable experience deepened my understanding of responsible legislation, standardized analysis, and the profound impact of cannabis and psychedelic research, fueling my advocacy for patient rights, harm reduction, and an end to the war on drugs.
My career journey began in Pennsylvania's dynamic medical cannabis landscape, where I gained hands-on experience in testing labs, licensed cultivation facilities, and vertically integrated dispensaries. Engaging with the entire supply chain, I contributed to a responsible, ethical, and compassionate industry, offering technical analysis and innovative solutions. Witnessing the transformative power of effective education and collaboration, I now apply my expertise as an educator, consultant, project manager, and scientific advisor for forward-thinking organizations.
As a versatile professional, my educational efforts are currently threefold: I've successfully developed and taught a diverse range of accredited cannabis science courses at the collegiate level, empowering students with comprehensive knowledge and preparing them for careers in this evolving field. Additionally, I provide patient education in a clinical setting, helping individuals discover the benefits of medical cannabis. Moreover, through my company, I've had the privilege of educating startups, healthcare professionals, and regulatory agencies across the nation on the intricacies of medical cannabis science through consulting, conferences, and advisory board positions.
Before entering cannabis science, I excelled in leadership roles in the hospitality industry, garnering top-tier accolades for customer service.
Committed to lifelong learning, and I am always seeking innovative ways to honor the plants and fungi that I owe my health and happiness.
