"Judge Not" is one of the most misquoted verses of scripture by believer and nonbeliever alike. Considering context we look at Matt 6 to understand Jesus' statement. There are guidelines that must be considered in rightly judging.

In this series we will look at some commonly misused passages. It is recorded in John 14 that Jesus said, "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." We must study the scriptures or we will divide it wrongly- or get it wrong. Considering all of what Jesus was saying in John 14 might clarify some things about this passage.

Jesus was invited as a guest to Simon's home. We see how being proud or being humble changes the way we treat people.

The conversion of a man is a process. Let's right the wrongs and not wait on others to do what we have the power to do. Doing the right thing is tough, and that is why there has to be a conversion of the man.

Who do you say Jesus is? Many say various things about who Jesus is but your answer like Simon's is imperative to your spiritual life. Jesus is the head of the church. There is no other.

There is a conversion that happens to every man, or in the heart of every man when he repents. To repent is to adjust things or to make changes to our course in life. As we make adjustments we stay on course with God and don't get off in the ditch. When was the last time we Confessed or acknowledge our sin. Than took steps of Restitution, to right the wrong, and bring Restoration to others.

Repentance is a process. It is the beginning of change. The change of our mind, our disposition, or our view point. If you know something you are suppose to do, but you don't do it, it is sin to you! So turn from doing life your way, and do it God's way!
