There is a purpose to everything. It is easy to get distracted or it is easy to set aside purpose. Understanding purpose is very necessary in order to cooperate with it, other wise if we don't know the purpose of something we think it is a waste. Pastor reminds us that when we don't know the purpose of something, than we often miss you the provision. For instance, revelations purpose is for you to know something and to see something. With revelation there is illumination! The word of God comes alive in us, not just to know it, but to walk in it!

Are we trying to do something we should be training for instead? "Try": sporadic attempts from time to time. "Train": consistent directives applied with outside verification.

Matt 7:13-14 "Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life — to God! — is vigorous and requires total attention. (MESS)

If we don't understand the purpose, it can be easy to sabotage it. We have to remember that there is a purpose to why we do what we do.

If we don't check the load we are carrying, we can get over loaded. Being overloaded is dangerous and costly. If we are going to finish our race, we need to check our pace. Many times people have a difficult time saying no because they haven't realized what they should say yes to. Say yes to longevity, health, righteousness, peace and the leading of the Spirit.

The paths we walk in are our choice. We need to learn how to choose good paths and how to walk in them.

Jesus didn't come to make bad people good, He came to make dead people alive.

Jesus willingly went to the cross and laid His life down to pay the penalty for our sin.

The bible says in Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ the lord." Jesus died so that you and I could live. Through Christ we have eternal life, new life, and abundant life.

The sound mind is a renewed mind. It is a disciplined mind and a self controlled mind. If we put the word of God in our lives and choose to believe it, we will become united with God. We fight the good fight of faith, so that we don't fight with others. We see from the word of God that if we put on the armor of God, we can wrestle the devil and win! Praise God...

Sometimes the troubles we have in life are because of the paths we have chosen to take. There are things you and I can do to make things easier or harder to receive from God.

Wisdom and understanding will help you walk in the right paths. What kinds of paths do you choose to walk in?

If we are double minded we won't receive anything from the Lord. Our souls being renewed is a growth process. Being double minded is dangerous and causes one to be unstable.

If we are not walking in the truth there are consequences and if we walk in the truth there are consequences.

When people embrace THEIR truth and reject THE truth, so that they can keep doing what they want to do there are dire consequences for generations.
