Word on the Street: A Baltimore Sports Short Podcast

In part II of III of my love/hate series in sports I touch on poser media and 2 mega media outlets that should be embarrassed. Without mentioning names, ESPN, NFLN & PFT.

Thanks to social media it is common practice to describe criticizing as hating. That being said let the hating begin, (really it's more of a love/hate kind of thing) starting with Believeland and The NFL.

McDaniel College once hosted the Baltimore Ravens' Training Camp. But those days are long gone much to the chagrin of fans. Today we remember.

The summer months just prior to training camp are particularly nerve wracking for any NFL organization and it's during that time that they hope, insofar as the law is concerned, that they only hear the sound of silence.

Darren O'Day hasn't pitched for the Baltimore Orioles since June 1 thanks to a hamstring injury. The team is holding it together, but they need him back.

His numbers, his achievements suggest that Terrell Suggs could make it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day.

The Ravens did their very best to trade Eugene Monroe and the nearly had a deal with the New York Giants. But in the end, like he has in so many other ways, this malcontent Mr. Softee messed up again and the Ravens finally say goodbye.

Ben Grubbs left Baltimore in 2012 to join the Saints as a free agent and then eventually moved on to Kansas City in 2015. One year later, despite the Chiefs having to eat $5.2M in dead money, they released Grubbs and now a neck injury is likely to force him into retirement.

Despite Breshad Perriman's propensity for injury the Ravens should not be lured in by the fans' desire to bring back Anquan Boldin.

Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton has been dominant as a closer since moving into the role in 2014, but has taken it up another notch in 2016.
