The holidays are over, and the new year is young. And it seems that our world has taken its finger off of the pause button and horrific headlines are everywhere. Severe weather patterns are crippling parts of the United States, while other countries are experiencing droughts of biblical proportions. The out-of-control wildfires in Australia are destroying many homes and displacing millions. And yet right in the middle of all this, the terrible decisions of world politicians insert themselves front and center on the world stage. But are we to feel hopeless and fearful about all of these things that are happening? Or is there a bigger picture emerging before our eyes?
