Welcome to another Words 4 Life discussion.  This is part 2 of the season finale, the last episode of this season. 

In this episode Martine Erica Bermingham, the new Creative Arts Director for Pine Forge Academy, continues to uncover parts of Tarence Farrell's testimony including details about his 1st marriage and the accident that changed the trajectory of his life.

Although this is the end of season one I am extremely excited about season 2, Words 4 Leaders which will start Tuesday, September 7th. 

The purpose of this episode is to show that God uses everything you go through as a character building opportunity.  He wants us to draw from all our experiences to be a witness for Him in whatever way he calls us to minister.  It's our hope that GOD uses something we say to speak directly to you.

We’ve completed our 1st year of great moments with the Words 4 Life podcast and I honestly believe this will be one of our most interesting episodes yet.  For our season finale we thought it would be interesting to give you a view into the testimony of the person that has been asking the questions for a year.  We asked the new Creative Arts Director for Pine Forge Academy, Martine Erica-Bermingham to be the host and uncover the testimony of Tarence Farrell.

Our special guest for episode 49 is Pastor D. L. McPhaull. 

Pastor McPhaull has been engaged in pastoral ministries for the last 36 years and has been a foundational person in my walk with God.  Prior to ministry he served as a medic in the United States Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran.  Next came a career in broadcasting, with stints at 1580 KDAY and KGFJ in Los Angeles, and WOL, in Washington, D.C.   Later, D. L. McPhaull became the director of Promotions and Marketing for the Black Music Division of Capitol/E.M.I. Records in Hollywood.  

He’s a graduate of the Don Martin School of Radio and Television; Oakwood University where he earned a bachelor’s degree with double majors in theology and communications; and Loma Linda University where he earned a master’s degree in Social Work.  He has also written regularly for Message Magazine.  And he has recently published his first book, “Never Shake Hands With a White Woman.”  Behind the provocative title is his chilling testimony of being delivered by God’s grace from a near fatal freebase cocaine overdose.
