Saying or doing something to "get" some one do do something, based on what I think they should be doing, is NOT of God.

I am blessed with "pure speech" because of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Whom I can trust 100%. His plan is the best plan!

Free"dumb" - no concern for others, selfish, thinking it can do whatever, whenever, however, thinking all rules, and procedures as "bad" or limiting

True freedom is not:

1. based on culture

2. something that comes from man

3. something that comes from a government (can protect, but it truly comes from Above)

Bible freedom is:

1. is based in Truth

2. only comes from God

3. considers others first

Remember this week:

1. God has saved me.

2. God has called me.

3. God has equipped me.

 The Time Machine Manifesto: What advice would I give myself 10 years ago?

I would tell myself that who you are friends with really does matter.

1. Friendships Matter

· a God friendship will take effort, time and resources.

o Not always convenient timing

o Not always fun. (confrontation, apologies)

o Not one sided

· a God friendship is someone who is going the same way as you.

o You have unique and specific path God has you on.

o You will never change a person. (that is God’s job alone)

o You can be unequally yoke with believer or unbelievers.

o Jesus was able to be a Friend to sinners because of His close relationship with the Father.

· a God friendship will always lead you closer to Him.

o Makes you want to walk closer to Him

o Makes you want to please Him

o Makes you want to do what He has called you to

So what would I tell myself 10 years ago about friendship?

o You can’t be friends with everyone.

o There is a difference between general friendships and covenant friendship.

o God has friends for us in the place He has us.

o Depend on Him first.

Keys to Missions:

Don't worry if you don't feel qualified, God will equip you.

1. God can work with faith, no matter the size.

2. Follow the peace of God in your heart.

3. Remember to take care of yourself so you can be most effective.

4. Single or Married: Don't put the call of God on your life on hold!

The rewards of fulfilling God's call are SO much better than the sacrifice. The ultimate reward is PEOPLE KNOWING JESUS!

How did Jesus redefine the value of the "woman at the well":

1. He spoke to her first.

2. He allowed Himself to be alone with a “fallen” and a woman of bad reputation.

3. He asked her for a drink. (denoting that He needed her)

4. He tenderly exposed her brokenness with the one intention of leading her to repentance.

5. He revealed His Deity and salvation to her. (humility vs. His answers to prideful Pharisees, etc.)
