This is Episode One in Season Two of the Words of Life Bible Study Podcast. In Season Two, Dr. Lee Roy Martin and Dr. Rebecca Basdeo Hill will discuss a variety of biblical topics. This episode covers the topic of fear and how to overcome it.
The Old Testament prophet Isaiah ministered from about 740 BC to possibly 680 BC, a period of from 40 to 60 years. However, the messages of Isaiah address the contexts before, during, and after the Babylonian exile, even to the end of the world, "a new heaven and a new earth" (Isa. 65:17; 66:22). When Babylonian exiles read Isa. 43:1-3 they would have received hope, and their fears would have been conquered.
Dr. Martin and Dr Hill teach Old Testament and biblical languages at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee USA.
