Proverbs is one of the books of "Wisdom" from the old testament and is one that should be a staple of our spiritual diet. If you know any young people, it is an amazing idea to have them embrace reading Proverbs from a young age. Solomon himself addresses this book to his son and we should do the same.

1st Corinthians chapter 14 can be confusing, but as long as we understand that Paul is addressing very specific miraculous gifts that were only available by the laying on of hands of the Apostles then it's much easier to comprehend. He was instructing them on their proper use and how they should be only used for uplifting and building up the church.

These are the final 2 chapters of the book of Job. God finishes speaking to Job by expounding on the creature he created called Leviathan. Leviathan is certainly where all of the legends of the "dragons" come from. To hear God describe this amazing creature as well as the long list of facts about His creation is absolutely faith-building and humbling.

God then chastises Job's 3 "friends" and sets things straight telling them how wrong they have been. God considered Job righteous and would accept his prayers for them.

Ultimately Job is vindicated and God blesses him even more in his latter days than he had been blessed in the past. Job died in his old age having seen his grandchildren to the fourth generation.

In Job 38-40, God shows up out of the whirlwind and begins to speak with Job. HE begins with a series of rhetorical questions asking Job if he knew things about creation that only God would know, or if Job was there when all of these amazing things were made. It's truly wondrous to be a "witness" to such an event.

1st Corinthians chapter 13 is often called the "Love" chapter. If you walk away with one thing though, it would be that without Love, you/we have nothing.
