📖 Acts 12 & 13 show us that no prison, no king, and no doubt can stop God’s mission.
Herod goes on a rampage—he kills James and imprisons Peter. But while the church prays, God sends an angel to bust Peter out of jail. The guards are stunned. Herod is furious… and shortly after, he’s struck down for stealing God’s glory.
Then, the scene shifts: the church in Antioch is fasting and praying when the Holy Spirit calls out Paul and Barnabas for a mission. And just like that, the first missionary journey begins. Paul steps into his calling, preaches with boldness, and the Gospel spreads like wildfire.
