Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. As long as we are bound, we can’t do anything effective for God. God wants us to conquer, overcome and subdue. We are not called to fight against flesh and blood, but that's where most of our time and effort is spent.----more----
How do we conquer or overcome?
To know more on how to live a victorious life, listen to the sermon.
Amos 5:4-5 For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live; But do not seek Bethel, Nor enter Gilgal, Nor pass over to Beersheba; For Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, And Bethel shall come to nothing.
Do not seek Bethel
- Seek diligently - Proverbs 8:17 And those who seek me diligently will find me.
Numbers 13&14: God commanded Moses to spy the land. Moses sent one from each tribe along with Caleb & Joshua. Majority of the spies came with a negative report saying "we are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we". But Caleb & Joshua said, "We will go and possess, we are able to overcome". For they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” Later we find Caleb could do that because he had a different spirit. What is that different spirit? Today you and I need that different spirit. Based on Caleb's report, this is what we could arrive at.----more----
Based on Joshua & Caleb’s report,

What is false sense?
Paul’s concern about the believers 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly—and indeed you do bear with me. 2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it! (you submit to it readily enough / easily accept it).
Following are the five different false senses that we need to keep a watch.
To know more about these, please listen to the full sermon.
Acts 5:14-16 14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.----more----
Shadow of influence:
God wants us to influence lives by being friendly, Inviting home, Visiting them, Helping them, Encouraging them, Giving them, and Praying for them.
Jesus laid His hand on the sick, apostles laid hands on the sick, Jesus asks the believers to lay hands on the sick.
Not the shadow, people are looking for our touch. We are the hands of Christ. Our hands can heal, encourage, embrace, comfort and serve.
God wants us to
Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. “It is time” indicates God is serious about mission Prepare the Ground-Sow the seed-See the growth-Reap the harvest.----more----

- Church has to extent into the community
The Word of God is very specific about how we as Christians are to conduct ourselves toward the non-Christian. Paul says in Colossians 4:5-6 5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside (non-believers), redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Paul says,

Jesus Christ is God in flesh came down from heaven to the earth only because of His love for mankind. He is a powerful God. His name is the most powerful name. There is salvation, healing, deliverance, blessings and eternity in His name. To know more, please listen.----more----
Philippians 2:6-11 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Paul is saying,
We see the transforming power of Lord Jesus Christ. The beggar was physically crippled and spiritually handicapped. But the miracle transformed the beggar both physically as well as spiritually.
