We are starting our Bible study on 1 Corinthians! Open God’s word with me today and let’s see what scripture says. I talked a little bit about my Bible study method and I give full credit to Jen Wilkin and her book Women of the Word . This is a book I highly recommend. I love all of her studies as well. In addition to reading 1 Corinthians 1:1-9 we will also be going to The book of Ephesians for more information about God’s grace, predestination, and election. I have had people tell me the King James version is the only accurate translation of the Bible but I have found that this is not true. If you are wanting to learn more about this topic I encourage you to study this out. James White wrote a book called the King James only controversy and he has several videos on youtube about this. I recommend listening to what he has to say. He debates many people with different religions all around the world and can defend God's Word. This is a topic that needs to be discussed. I encourage women to read a Bible version they understand. When I say Bible version I mean KJV, NKJV, ESV, NASB, CSB, and many more but I am NOT talking about the New world translation because that was corrupted and is used in Mormonism. Also do NOT hear me say that I have anything against the KJV because I do love that version and think it was written very beautifully I just dont think that's the only accurate Bible out there.
