"The Devil's in the details"

This saying got me GOOD when I heard it again recently. It sent my mind into curiosity and I dove head first into finding where and when this term came about in history. Turning from an architectural term in the early turn of the century, to then be flipped and diverted into a religious saying.... the journey of these particular words prompted some interesting perspectives from Ilsa and myself.
