What does the Mind have to do with it?
Mind Body Connection
Neuroscience, Immunology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Psychiatry, Behavioral Medicine, Psychology and Quantum Physics proves in the latest Research and articles there is a powerful connection between your mind, body, emotions, beliefs and energy fields. Together, they create an unbelievable super highway of inter-connected information and energetic networks.
The science behind all this is fascinating, and the conclusions are staggering. It turns out that biochemical reactions to mental and emotional stimuli – your everyday thoughts and feelings – occur not just in the brain but also, often simultaneously, in virtually every system of your body. Pioneering scientists like Dr Candace Pert, Dr Bruce Lipton and Dr David Hamilton just to name a few have helped to revolutionize our understanding of the link between our minds, bodies and energy systems.
Unfortunately Information about these discoveries goes mostly under-reported. Articles on related topics appear regularly in scientific journals, and even in popular magazines such as Smithsonian, Scientific American (Such as this).
The neurological and biochemical concepts are explained in extreme scientific detail. But the concepts aren’t easily simplified, and are rarely published in the general media. Nor do they have much viability in the curriculum of most medical schools. Thus, most conventional doctors are largely unaware (or if they are aware, do not prescribe to the legitimacy of the subject) of the vast implications such insights might have for our health and life choices.
If it can't be measured, science won't concede it exists, which is why science refuses to deal with emotions, the mind, the soul, or the spirit. Read more

I would change how patients are treated. I feel that health care has become a one size fits all model, a factory. I would change the perception of how we heal patients. That's just one of many things I would change.
“If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That’s the only lasting thing you can create.” ― Chuck Palahniuk, Choke
