My journey to trusting God even when I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This week on Work In Progress I have invited my amazing husband to be my very first guest. We will be discussing what being a Work In Progress looks like as a minister, what areas of his life he feels like a Work In Progress in and last but certainly not least how marriages may be a "Work In Progress" and what we've learned over the years.

In light of all the recent events happening in our country, I thought it necessary to shed light on what POC's may be feeling. Simply put, WE ARE TIRED! We're tired of having to convince others that our lives matter. We're tired of being targeted simply because of the color of our skin. We're tired of being seen as criminals and not just ordinary people. And most of all were tired of having to prove to people that we aren't a threat and are worth advocating for. In the wake of everything going on, I am encouraged to use my platform to shed light on all the injustices taking place. If you get nothing else from this week's episode, get this, We are Tired!

This week I would like to encourage anyone listening to really Check your Privilege. I also would encourage you to take a moment to really consider ways that you can bless others who may not posses the same privileges as you.
