Gary King recorded on 03/05/2024
Gary King helps business owners to have the freedom to choose where, when and how they work.
After 25 years in high-growth businesses delivering results at a senior level, Gary knew he could use his skills to help SMEs. A straight-talking, no-nonsense Yorkshire man, he now helps ambitious business owners create more time, more money and more choice with a range of online and in-person programmes.
His passion comes from bitter experience. When he started his business in 2010 he was regularly at his desk in the early hours doing expenses and missing his son’s football matches just to keep on top of work. And the guilt that came with that situation was almost overwhelming.
Having turned around his business and his lifestyle as a result, Gary now runs three successful businesses and it’s this experience he uses to help other entrepreneurs stop feeling guilty, start earning what they are worth, and giving them the ability to make choices about how they spend their time. He creates the freedom to choose.
Gary says, “I started Tendo because I was heartbroken that 95% of small business owners fail and I wanted to change those stats. I am driven by working with owner managed small businesses to develop high growth strategies and support them to take action and deliver the highest possible results.”
Gary is also The Director of The Association of Business Mentors and sits on their Executive Team.

Vickie Rogerson recorded on 21/05/2024
Vickie Rogerson is a seasoned PR communication specialist with more than 20 years of senior level comms experience working with some of the UK’s biggest food and drink brands. She has been on both sides of the fence by working in a range of industry-leading PR and advertising agencies as well as seven years as Head of Food & BWS PR in-house at Asda.
She founded North PR in 2018 as she saw a food and drink skills-gap in the PR industry which was letting down brands. They were paying for fancy communications campaigns that just didn’t deliver, from PR professionals who didn’t understand the sector.
She is on a mission to celebrate great food and drink stories from exciting brands that are making a real difference in the buzzing food sector.
She is adept at creating and delivering bespoke, thoughtful and impactful profile raising campaigns that turn heads.
Her portfolio boasts leading lights in the food and drink arena such as Asda, Pizza Express, Sloemotion Distillery, Holland’s Pies, Violife, Butterkist, Farmison & Co, Pork Farms and R&R Ice Cream.
