There are no coincidences in life. This is one of my core beliefs. Things happen. Life gets hard. You will have to overcome challenges. That’s life. But if you slow down and pay attention, there is always something you can learn from every situation. Don’t react negatively. Accept the things you can’t change. And attempt to find meaning in the things going on around you. You’re always being guided. Pay attention.

You can do more. You can try harder. If you truly believe in your dreams and you believe you are favored by God, what can possibly be holding you back?

Get in the game. Start trying things. Allow your creativity to flow. Fail forward. Don’t worry about the opinions of others. Don’t allow fear to win.

Anything is possible.

Faith is key. You have to believe it before you can achieve it. I know that’s cliche, but it’s true. Trust the process. Trust that you will do the work necessary to move you closer to your goals. And trust that God will continue to guide your footsteps and bless your efforts.

It’s okay to disagree. Disagreements don’t have to lead to anger and hate. Those are low vibrational emotions.

Enter conversations seeking knowledge and understanding. You don’t have to “win” the conversation.

And do your best to inform yourself. Listen, watch, and engage with both sides of an argument. It’s a great exercise for building patience and empathy.

Stay curious.

The goal is to be free from financial anxiety. You don’t need a million dollars to achieve this goal. Small incremental growth is key.

Your current task could be to make an additional thousand dollars every month. Then, you can grow from there. Focus on the amount of money that grants you the ability to spend without worry. You can buy the best groceries. You can travel. Never miss a bill. And still have money left over for investing or saving for a rainy day. That is the main objective.

Your freedom is closer than you think.

You are much more interesting than you think or allow yourself to be. Your unique experiences and creativity are necessary building blocks for your story. Tell your story. It’s special. There are people who would love to hear it. Contribute to the collection of knowledge that all humans take from. Your story can be someone’s call to action.

These are a few lessons I learned during the craziest nine months of my life. I watched my father die, and it shook me to my core. But God had a plan. I just had to be patient. Thank you for listening to another episode of Working On Everything with Talias DeBerry.
