This week we're throwing it back to a season 1 topic, finding time for yourself. With a few more years of experience under our belts, and a few more years on our kids we wanted to revisit the idea on finding time for yourself. How you communicate your wants with your partner, how you set both of you up for success and how you find balance between making sure both parents have an opportunity to let their hair down.

This week, Ethan wanted to talk about a topic, but did not explain it well. Alex went on a long (and accurate) point countering a lot of what Ethan said. Ethan then clarifies what he meant to say, but didn't in a long pause, and ultimately the dads agree. This week we're doing a replay, because Ethan’s kid is sick. In this episode, we’re discussing how to take care of yourself when the kids are sick. Having sick kids isn't fun for anybody involved, but when you get sick, or you get burnt out mentally from dealing with sick kids on top of the outside world that doesn't stop moving, things can seem unbearable (as Ethan is going through in real time during this episode). We share some of our best tips, from experience, of how we try to make things at least a little more manageable during these life curveballs.
