Working with the Spirit

Join us on the porch with special guest Ancestor Healing himself as we talk about communicating with, serving, and uplifting the ancestors.  We'll talk about the special place ancestors have in our traditions and how building a relationship with those who have gone before you can open you up to personal, material, and spiritual uplifting.  The phone lines will be open for calls, comments, readings, and everything in between.  See you there!

Join us tonight for the return of our host, Papa Lou. He has returned from deep in the underground facility at an unknown location for Cussin' Monday. Phone lines will be open for conjure questions.

Papa Lou is away somewhere in a deep underground facility. Therefore Dr. Corbeaux and Amorea will be mannning the helm this Friday as we bring back Mother Wassima to learn us something about old conjure. Be sure to bring your questions!

The Text-line will be unavailable this Friday - so for those of you who are a little shy, send your questions over to the show page http://www.facebook.com/workingwiththespirit and we'll do our best to get to those as well.

Praise God!

Join us as we talk about internet hoodoo foolishness and how to steer clear of it.  We'll talk about trends, conjure fads, cyber turf wars, computer gangsters, ask-holes, false gurus, and the dreaded mock celebrity. Listen in as we give out work on how to protect yourself from these folks and how to use conjure to gain clarity. Not just on the web, but in life.  Also, tune in and listen for the winner of Mama Rue's Relationship Reading give-away!!!!  It may be you!  We might even talk the lady herself into dropping by.  See you on the porch!

Tune in tonight for listener request night!  We're taking your calls and requests.  That's right, YOU control the conversation.  Be it graveyard work or love tricks.  Gatorade bottles or Doc's infamous Bootyhole Candles.  We're here with wide open lines to take your calls!

Welcome to the long overdue first show of the new year!  This Cussin' Monday we're going to be talking about candle magic and how it can be used to either strengthen existing work or as a powerful stand alone in its own right.  The phone lines will also be open for calls and readings.  See you then!

Welcome to our first dual blogtalk and on-air radio broadcast!  Joining us will be two VERY special guests to talk to all of us about Ifa, the ancestral religion of Nigeria and one of the faiths brought with the ancestors here via the middle passage.  Many of the traditions of Ifa came to transfer into conjure as it grew in its early stages.  We are pleased and honored to have with us on the porch:

Professor Babalawo Ifategunse Osadele.  He is a trained Babalawo of over 18 years, and was raised in Oyotunji African village.  Also,

Iya Apetebi Ifadunmade Omirelekun Ifalase.  She is an Olorisha Yemoja Priestess and Apetebi.

They together run www.ifaglobalsite.com and work tirelessly to spread AUTHENTIC Ifa and educate people on its practices.  They are both highly skilled readers and spiritual leaders.  Call and ask questions or just listen in as we talk about the similar practices of Ifa and conjure, the Orisha, and how you can get an in depth reading and perhaps find out which Orisha walks with you.  This is going to be a very special show!

Hey, y'all!  This episode of Cussin' Monday we're going to talk about the things in this new school conjure movement that absolutely burns us up.  We were going to title this show "Things that piss us off", but blogtalk wouldn't give us enough space to type it.  We're also taking your calls live for readings and consultations.  Also, if you're new here's your chance to ask your down and dirty conjure questions.  See you on the porch!

This week will be the conjure version of "What to expect when you're expecting". lol  But instead of a baby, we'll talk to you about how to birth the strong rootworker inside of you wanting to get out.  This show we'll talk about how to get started, finding a teacher, what to do if you can't, roots, herbs, and other tidbits someone just starting out on their journey should know.  And the phone lines WILL be open!
