Providing care to victims and survivors can lead to stress, anxiety, fear, and other strong emotions. How does these support people manage their mental health. Yes it is their job, and they selected that profession. They do it because they care. I do not think anyone go to a job knowing what they are going to experience and how it is going to affect them.  Again how does these workers /support person cope with these emotions can affect their well-being. The care they give to others while doing your job  is critical. Let them know you appreciate them.
