  • 7/1 - Women's World Cup Quarterfinals, Copa America Quarterfinals, Transfer Window Roundup
We are back to bring forth the excitement surrounding the U.S. Women's National Team's Semifinal advancement. We talk their huge upset over France and look ahead to their huge clash against England. Winner gets Netherlands or Sweden!
We then move to the Copa America Quarterfinals and discuss going straight to penalties after 90 minutes. We then quickly acknowledge Canada's horrific collapse/Haiti's monumental victory in the Gold Cup Quarterfinals.
We round out with some transfer talk as we dwell upon Manchester United, Chelsea, Milan and more!
    USA! USA! USA!

  • 6/17 - Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, Maurizio Sarri to Juventus, Women's World Cup
We are back for our first official summer edition of the show as Eden Hazard and Maurizio Sarri both made their moves way from Chelsea official. Ryan delves into how he feels going into this transfer window (even though they can't buy anyone). Not good.
We then move to the other international tournaments that are taking place this summer, including the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the UEFA U-21 Euro, Concacaf Gold Cup, Copa America, but most importantly, the FIFA Women's World Cup.
African Cup of Nations hasn't even started yet.

  • 6/5 - Champions League & Europa League Final Recap
This is coming at a bit of a delay due to some personal scheduling conflicts, but we are finally here to share with you our Champions League and Europa League Final thoughts.
Liverpool ended up taking home the prestigious club trophy (don't @ me Club World Cup), while Chelsea overcame a horrendous first half to steamroll Arsenal in front of 30,000 empty seats in Azerbaijan.
There was plenty to unpack in these two Finals, so buckle up and prepare yourself for a surprisingly long Final Special.

  • 5/27 - The Dramatic Final Day in Serie A, EFL Play-off Finals, UCL and UEL Finals Predictions
We've got a jam-packed show for you on this Memorial Day as there was plenty of drama to unpack.
We start off with the most recent drama, the EFL Play-off Finals in League Two, League One, and the most expensive game in football, the Championship. Drama was to be had in League Two and League One, while the Championship Final only found its legs at the end.
We then move to the doozy: the final day in Serie A. Seven teams were playing for something in 5 games on the final day, including a stunning, tense and ultimately devastating Champions League race.

  • 5/18 - 2nd Annual Premier League Results Competition
Now that the 2018-19 Premier League season has ended with a thrilling Championship Sunday, it's is time for our 2nd Annual Predictions Recap Competition (rolls off the tongue). Last year, Ryan won in convincing fashion but our predictions come down to the wire this season. For those that have stuck around with us, you may be able to take a guess as to what was pretty much the decider for this year.

  • 5/3 - Ajax vs Tottenham and Barcelona vs Liverpool: Leg 1 statements
It's a Champions League themed outing as we take a look at the first legs of the UEFA Champions League Semifinals. Ajax took an important away league back to The Netherlands, but Barcelona made the most of their home leg with a couple of stunning goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
We then venture to the top 4 leagues in Europe where we take a look at the ever-tightening Champions League races in England, Italy, Germany and Spain. Who has the edge? Who will make it to the Top 4?
Tune in to a brand new World Football Talk to find out! Let us know who you think will make it to the Champions League @WFT_Podcast on Twitter!

  • 4/20 - Champions League Madness: Manchester City vs Tottenham Breakdown
Buckle up. We (very) quickly run through the results at the Camp Nou and Estadio do Dragao. We then venture to Allianz Stadium to discuss Juventus's crushing loss to the young, explosive Ajax. Where does this disappointment stack up with PSG's? Is Ronaldo the missing link needed for Juve's Champions League quest?
Then, it's the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City vs Tottenham. One of the craziest games we have seen in a very long time. There was a flurry of goals within the first ten minutes, two controversial VAR calls and plenty of NEW drama to be had. We spend quite a bit of time on this one, and of course, we certainly don't agree on everything.

  • 3/31 - Cardiff Robbed By Chelsea, Man United Counters Past Watford, Alejandro Pozuelo Ends NYCFC
We are back after an international break induced hiatus to cover all of the biggest headlines to come out of the Premier League. Manchester United and Chelsea barely escaped with 3 points, for increasingly different reasons, while the race for Europa League and the race to stay in the Premier League are becoming much more dramatic.
We then fly across the Atlantic to talk about Alejandro Pozuelo's debut for Toronto FC as he pretty much ended Sean Johnson's career in their huge win over NYCFC. A panenka, a scoop chip, a dominant performance.

  • 3/19 - Champions League R16/Draw Reactions, Europa League, Derby della Madonnina, FA Cup
We try to stuff an hour's worth of content into 30 minutes and, surprise surprise, we fail. We keep it to a respectable 40 minutes, however, as we take a deep dive into many things.
We start in the European Competitions as we round up the Round of 16 in the Champions League and Europa League and assess the draws that followed.
The Derby della Madonnina (Milan Derby) came and went and it was one of the more electric derbies of late. You may think there's a rant here, but you may come out surprised.
We touch on the FA Cup and how Manchester United put forth one of their worst displays under Solskjaer and then look at the draw. Spoiler: City got an easy one.
We then blitz through the Premier League and La Liga before talking briefly about a wild finish to Orlando City's game on Saturday in MLS and look ahead to the international window and Gregg Berhalter's first full camp with the USMNT.
Take a deep breath, there's a lot to unpack.
