The NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns-NY (CSVGC) was formed in New York in 2004, in honor of the Founding Spirit of the United Nations. The CSVGC-NY sponsors week-long activities in honor of the UN Founding, and in 2007 created the Spirit of the United Nations Award to recognize and acknowledge those individuals whose work is an expression of the core principles, in spirit and vision of the United Nations.
