Yulia Navalny, the widow of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, has released a video on Monday in which she promises to keep fighting for a "free Russia". Alexei Navalny, who was known for his strong opposition to the Russian government, was poisoned in August 2020 and was later brought to Germany for treatment. Unfortunately, he died on February 20, 2021, after returning to Russia and being arrested upon arrival. In the video, Yulia Navalny expresses her grief over losing her husband and thanks everyone who supported him during his illness and subsequent detention. She then stresses that Alexei's work must continue and that she will do everything in her power to ensure that his vision of a free and democratic Russia becomes a reality. She also calls on the Russian people to join her in this fight and to stand up against corruption and authoritarianism in their country.
