Week 2 of the NFL season is over and there were a number of notable injuries. Zach talks about what may have led to these injuries and the role a normal preseason in avoiding them 

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals was Saturday night and a later game flagrant foul call had Zach thinking how the NBA has changed and why he does not like it.

In a somewhat surprising turn of events, the Big-10 conference decided they would play college football in the fall after all. Zach talks about what their scheduling might look like and how/if it makes the rest of college football adjust for their return, plus who teased their return early. Also, where does this lead the PAC-12? 

Sunday was the first NFL full slate of games. Zach gives a one headline from each game and talks about the affect of the fans and lack of preseason. 

Sunday marks the beginning of the NFL season while Saturday marked the beginning of the college football season. Zach talks about the controversy of the first NFL game of the year, plus the college conference that had an embarrassing first day Saturday.   

In the aftermath of the September 11th attacks, sports had to figure out its role, and what it could provide. Now, in the midst of a pandemic, maybe we can look back and learn something from then about how to be now.
