“Christendom has had a series of revolutions and in each one of them, Christianity has died. Christianity has died many times and risen again. For it had a God who knew the way out of the grave.” - G.K. Chesterton
For my generation, the news stories have been piling up since I was born. It would seem these past two years have offered a stockpile of these news stories. How should the church react to plagues, Ukraine and Russia, our own country's sin, the attack on the family institution and the atrocities from the ruling classes? After all, isn't it prophesied in Genesis 3 that the offspring of Eve will crush that evil serpent's head? How does this type of Christian victory possibly fit into the context of what we're seeing happening around us?
