Globally we’ve seen a ramping up of attacks on trans lives but we also see instances of a fightback and a deep radicalization amongst queer youth who are searching for the best means to resist the onslaught. Halfway through Pride month it's clear: around the world a new generation of LGBTQIA people are reclaiming this day as one of militant struggle.

In this episode of World to Win we discuss the situation facing trans people today, how the anti-trans backlash has its roots in the crisis of capitalism, and what type of movement and political programme are necessary to win genuine liberation.
