In "World Trigger," a gate to another world opens in Mikado City, unleashing monstrous beings called Neighbors. A defense agency, Border, utilizes Neighbor technology to fight back. The story follows Osamu Mikumo, a Border trainee, and Yūma Kuga, a humanoid Neighbor, as they navigate Border's ranks, fight Neighbors, and uncover the mysteries of the Neighbor world.
