In celebration of our nation's 249th birthday, we continue this series of Veterviews with another World War II vet, U.S. Army Captain Lloyd Grable. Captain Grable grew up in San Francisco, California. When World War II broke out, he enlisted in the US Army and was selected early for a commission as an officer. As the war came to a close following the dropping of nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, Lloyd was part of the US Military nation rebuilding effort. Today we learn the unique story of this World War II veteran's experiences.
