World War II Veteran Pat Rudd joins Martha, to reflect on her service during the war, and discusses how she became one of the first women deployed overseas after the passing of the WAVES act in 1942.

Pat discusses her time teaching soldiers to read and write while stationed at Pearl Harbor, how she met her husband in the service, and talks about her continued service to America's veterans.
