Recorded at the Orroral Lookout of Corin Forest in the ACT. The area was covered in snow, which was nice to see again after two decades.

Construction noise of the Civic Quarter building site, next to Veterans Park in the Canberra CBD. Whatever was making that loud banging from deep within the site was all the more mysterious as it was hidden from view.

I recorded this at the Woodstock Nature Reserve, on the side of a hill full of trees, with the Murrumbidgee river at the bottom. It was getting dark and I was a steep climb to get back to my car, so I promised myself to get closer to the river the next time I go there.

Sounds of nature from the Woodstock Nature Reserve at the north part of Canberra. I recorded this sitting amongst some trees that shielded me from the worst of the cold wind. Luckily it did not rain while I was there and I could admire the beautiful valley before me.
