Worldbuilding With Burk

Setting up gods for your game can be daunting and depending on your setting they can be an integral part of your world. In this episode Burk goes over Different types of options for your world and hopefully help make this more manageable. Burk goes over two gods from his setting and talks about building different options.

They can be used to keep the game going smoothly or to make sure your friend over there doesn't throw up on your couch. I reached out to a hand full of dms and pulled up some commonly used house rules.

For 90% of the people, picking a system for their campaign is a non issue. Most games typically lean to either Sci Fi or Fantasy. This week we are going to talk about finding systems that might fit your campaign setting with as little modification as possible.

Originally, This wasn't going to be the first episode but honestly we live in unprecedented times and this is probably the best time for this episode.

This pandemic hasn't been easy for any of us. You might be in a situation where you are stuck at home or maybe you are waiting for your whole group to be vaccinated before playing in person.  Maybe you are looking to start an online game.

Introduction episode for Worldbuilding with Burk. I decided to have this introduction episode be its own thing rather than tack it on the episode 1. I always feel it makes these things unnecessarily awkward. Something that often happens with session one of tabletop games. Think of this as session 0 of this show.
