Emotions were meant to be felt.

You are meant to go through them, it doesn't matter if it's pain it doesn't matter if it's hurt or brokenness,

Every smile, every notion of being alive? Happiness?

These emotions, they were meant to be felt cause one day you won't feel a thing.

I know I write these blogs for you, but today I'm not so sure if I'm writing this for you, I think this one's for me, so that I have the courage to do what I'm expecting of you, don't let that stop you from reading.

The fear of what would happen, or feeling inadequate, or settling for things you know you shouldn't.

I believe that going after the things that you want is something we all should practice.

Do you know You?

Do you ask yourself questions when something doesn't make sense, or when something feels off?

Do you ask yourself why did I react the way I did? Why is this making me sad? Where did this belief come from?

Self-awareness is a big term and isn't something that just comes to you, It takes time.

I heard this in a song, it said grass is always greener on the other side.

I was too young to know what that meant when I first heard it.

But for some reason it stuck with me, something else about that stuck in my head which I will mention later.

So I heard this a year a go and it really helped me.

You know what’s difficult or what’s hard?

Being rich is hard, being broke is hard.

Going to the gym is hard, following a diet is hard.

Being skinny is hard, being fat is hard.

But you get to choose which path will you take.

You ever felt like maybe I should do something new, something different?

It cheered you up at the moment, you felt all warm and fuzzy but then your brain started questioning.

You started having these thoughts like, you are not good at this, you suck, this isn't for you, you should just stop, etc.

We all live to be in a happy place, thinking a certain mountain top would give you what you want.

Wanting to conquer the next best thing, always looking for what's next.

I was told from an early age that I am good at certain things, that I was good to people, that I can do certain things.

It boosted my confidence and helped me get through most of my life.

But the thing with this is that it created a limit around me.

What do I do when I'm not good at certain things?

What do I do when I fuck up with people?

Or what do I do when I cannot do certain things?

Lesson from the book the subtle art of not giving a fuck-

Disappointment panda:

So there’s this concept that I really loved. I read this book a year ago Ig and in this mark manson says that if he could invent a superhero it would be called “Disappointment Panda”, and his superpowers are just spitting harsh truth that people need to hear about themselves.

I’m paraphrasing here, ‘He’d make your life better despite making us feel worse. He’d make us stronger by tearing us down.

Today people are more soft than ever everything is offensive nowadays.

We want people to tell us that we’re just okay the way we are. We don’t actually want to deal with ourselves anymore do we?

We don’t want to look in ourselves and see actually how fucked up we are, it might be your fault, it might be the circumstances, but you know what? You’re in control of who you become.
