In this episode of Worship Afterisms, host Chris August sits down with the incredibly talented Isaac Williams. He talks with us about his early introduction to music and foundation in the church by way of his family. Isaac shares with us how his upbringing shaped his unique sound and unexpectedly pushed him into the ministry pursuits he first despised but in time realized was an undiscovered call to be used for Gods glory.

August will dive in a little deeper with Isaac by breaking down the practicalities of worship leadership and exploring the spiritual gifts God deposits in leaders and how those gifts manifest in real-time ministry and in his own life. Isaac doesn't shy away from the "growing pains" either—they discuss his early leadership mistakes and the hard-earned wisdom of setting healthy boundaries to protect your ministry, and why boundaries aren't just a suggestion—they are a ministry-saver.  "If you don't have a foundation of healthy boundaries, the platform will eventually burn out the very thing you're trying to build and affect the things you’ve built around it." 

They’ll also engage in an interesting conversation around self preparation and where a worshipper must go to remain useful for the Kingdom despite the inevitable strains of leadership.
