It’s been over 500 years since Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenberg church in Germany, calling for reform. Though imperfect, God used Martin Luther to spur a new path for Christianity. However, as important as reforming systems may be, God also (and perhaps foremost) desires a reformed people. People who constantly search, read, and listen for His voice. They test what they learn against Scripture and ask the Holy Spirit to form them. Simply put, reformed people will carry the reformation forward until Christ’s return. Worship with us as Pastor Chad Stuart closes this five-part series with a final message titled “Reformed Reformers.”

"Seventy times seven." That's Jesus' response when He was asked how many times we should forgive—that's 490 times, if you're keeping track. However, rather than a literal number, Jesus is suggesting we keep extending grace through forgiveness. Why? Because that same grace and forgiveness have been extended to us. What would the world look like if we lived out the forgiveness we've received? Listen as Pastor Chad Stuart continues our current five-part sermon series, "This is Who We Are," with a message titled "Forgiven Forgivers."

Wife. Mother. Husband. Brother. Aunt. Pastor. Doctor. These are all labels that speak to our identity— to who we are. However, when we become Christians, that is, believers and followers of Jesus Christ, we take on a completely new identity—one that supersedes all others. As Christians, part of the call is to live as missionaries for Jesus at all times and in all places. What does this mean, and does it change how we show up? If not, should it? Listen and worship along as Pastor Chad begins a five-part series titled "This is Who We Are" with his first message "A Chosen People."

When Jesus invited His disciples to join Him for the Last Supper before His crucifixion, He invited them as they were. Perfection was not expected. "Take this bread, drink this juice; do this in remembrance of Me" was Jesus' grace-filled invitation to take part in all that He offers, up to and including His life, which was sacrificed on their behalf—and ours—just hours later. When we participate in the Ordinance of Communion, we do so as unfinished works in progress, asking for the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus to cover us, complete us, and restore us to Himself. We invite you to listen in as Pastor Lerone Carson shares her final sermon at Spencerville Church titled "Come to the Table."

This week, we're kicking off a new initiative in conjunction with the OneVoice27 initiative being launched by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, titled "All Things New." In this two-part sermon series, Pastor Chad will take us back to one of the seminal events of Jesus' ministry and share why it marks the beginning of a movement that changed the trajectory of the world! What was this event, and how was it so impactful that we're still discussing it 2,000 years later? Listen to part one of this exciting sermon series, "All Things New."
