Over the course of eight weeks, Pastoral Assistant and Intern Steven Tavel will lead us in exploring one of the most beautiful and foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. Covenant theology is not merely a theological system; it is the way the Scriptures teach us about God's gracious relationship with His people. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals one unfolding plan of redemption centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ. Severn Run Evangelical Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), devoted to the pursuit of Scripture, prayer, fellowship, and worship as we seek to faithfully reach our community for Christ.

The greatest gift God has ever given to wicked, sinful people is because of his great love to us. Those people that aren't believers do not understand why believers love to worship God in church services, or read their Bibles at home, or tell others about their great gift of salvation. Believers are not afraid, even of the rod of God, because believers know that God uses the rod to correct us, to draw us closer to him.

Through worship, our priorities are weekly reestablished on God.

God shall Laugh at ALL those who willfully reject His Great and Free Salvation, Given through His Son. Passing the "Laugh Test", means learning by Grace, that God's True People learn more and more of their sinfulness, as they grow older. For the nearer we come to God, the more we then see, by the Light of The Holy Spirit, of our Great sin and natural darkness!
